Ryan Gosling In Canada for Toronto Film Festival

Ryan Gosling has returned to his homeland of Canada for the 2007 Toronto International Film Festival where his film “Lars and the Real Girl” will be screening. The premise of the film is a bit over-the-top. Ryan’s character is a regular working man who falls in love with a life-sized doll that he orders on the Internet!

Sounds like this movie could be hilarious, it is listed as a comedy on IMDb after-all. I have heard of some people becoming obsessed with blow-up dolls and that premise for a movie seems so funny. Hopefully Ryan isn’t really in love with a blow-up doll, although word on the street is that he has a life-sized Rachel McAdams doll in his closet so he can relive “The Notebook” whenever he wants to.
