Colin Farrell and Ewan McGregor Admit to Illicit Affair

Colin Farrell and Ewan McGregor were hitting the red carpet for the Toronto Film Festival to talk about their new movie--a Woody Allen flick--in which the two play brothers. However, they seemed to have more fun pretending to play lovers, when chatting with reporters. When Ewan talked with Metro, about his "relationship" with Colin, he had no problem maintaining the ruse.

"Me and Colin Farrell lovers? Yes. You heard it here first. Friends, lovers, all of those things."

For his part, Colin corroborated his buddy's story, adding:

"We're lovers, but only physically. No movies, no dinners, or long meaningful conversations caring about how the other person is doing in their lives."
"We just like to make love every now and then. Once a year is going to be the deal, like Woody Allen makes his films."

See, Colin is totally joking, but he strikes me as being such a sexual being that I could actually totally see this being real. Plus, Ewan seems very agreeable--I could see Colin just sort of talking him into it--as an acting exercise or something. And, as we all know, it's all fun and games until someone goes and makes a sex tape. Or someone finds naked polaroids on the mantle.
