Police and paramedics were called to Ryan's house in Malibu at 12:30 a.m. Saturday because of a reported family dispute. LA Police said that Mr. Griffin O'Neal was assaulted by his father during the argument.
Ryan O'Neal was booked at the Malibu-Lost Hills sheriff's station on charges of assault with a deadly weapon and negligent discharge of a firearm. No injuries have been reported. That could have been pretty, uh.. bad.
Ryan was released at 5:30 a.m. Saturday after posting a $50,000 bond.
