We just heard that funnyman Will Ferrell is offering a cameo role for
his next movie – but it’ll cost ya. The brainy idea raises money by
auctioning off a movie part.
Ferrell is doing the fundraising for Craig Pollard's Cancer for College
foundation. Pollard was one of Ferrell’s fraternity brothers at the
University of Southern California – the foundation gives college
scholarships to cancer patients.
Anyone interested in putting a bid on their 15 minutes of fame can start
on Monday, September 17^th . Bidding closes Wednesday, September 26^th
and the winner will be announced on September 27^th . The highest bidder
will appear at the 14^th annual Cancer for College golf tournament
dinner on the 28^th , where they’ll meet up with Ferrell.
Visit http://www.cancerforcollege.org <http://www.cancerforcollege.org/>
for more info. The winner films their cameo in October. Did we mention
that bidding starts at $5,000? Yikes, that’s steep for a few minutes of
screen time, but how cool would it be to appear with Will Ferrell?
