Well, maybe not as exciting as a Monday night football game, but the
Emmys are upon us and it’s time to hand out the little gold statues to
those deserving television entertainers.
Ryan Seacrest is warming up for the big event, kicking off his inaugural
spin at hosting the awards show. Will this prove to be a successful gig
for him or will he crash and burn?
Speaking of crashing and burning, VMA casualty Britney Spears has
declined the opportunity to apologize for her performance during the
Emmys. Despite Seacrest’s offer to “give up my monologue, song and
interpretive dance for her apology," looks like Brit will instead stay
home and pout.
When all the fanfare is over, who will be left with Emmy gold? Will The
Sopranos be richly rewarded for their final season (with 15 nominations,
how could they not be rewarded?)? What about your favorites – Ugly
Betty, Grey’s Anatomy, House, Heroes, The Office – which nominees are
