Kanye West Rocks the Emmys TV Guide Party

Kanye West sounds like he decided to put his frustration with awards shows aside momentarily by not only making an appearance at the awards show itself, but by then surprising the attendees of TV Guide's after-party with a performance. I'm hoping the party was more exciting than the show, because I was so bored with "Emmy Idol" and the weird stage and Ryan Seacrest. At least, though, everyone sounds like they were behaving and being polite. Terry O'Quinn, who won a trophy as best-supporting actor for his portrayal of John Locke on "Lost" didn't bring his trophy with him to the party, opting instead to leave it in the car and appeared to be trying to maintain a low-profile.

"In a year, most people you ask won't know who won this award tonight."

That's very possible, but I will remember that you wore a pink shirt with a ridiculously shiny black tie, Terry. And as notoriously difficult as it is to get into one of these parties, how on earth does Paula Abdul still get invited to places? She constantly seems like one broken nail away from a crying fit. Also, Jonathan Lipnicki? Seriously? That kid?
