Here’s a little known fact about me that might shock many of you:  I read things other than gossip mags sometimes.  One of the books/blogs that I have become absolutely addicted to is called Belle De Jour: The Secret Diary of a Call Girl.  The title says it all — it’s based on a blog about the allegedly true story of a twenty something call girl, and her misadventures in dating and, um, “working”.  

OK, so the book does have some steamy writing in it (she’s a call girl — what did you expect, baking cakes?), but she does give her insight on girly things and gives us a few glimpses of what her personal life is like.  It is a funny and candid read, and highly addictive 

UK TV station ITV have taken the stories and turned them into a series, which I saw the first episode last night.  Great stuff.  I highly recommend you guys check it out.
