Shocking Dye Jobs!

 The internet has been buzzing today with photos of Rumer Willis’ new platinum hair! The usually dark-haired actress (who has been getting lots of press lately as she steps out of her parents’ shadow and tries to develop a name for herself) surprised her family and friends with the dye job yesterday.

“I came home and my parents were really shocked when I walked in the house,” Rumer said. “My sisters looked at me like, ‘What? Your hair!’ But everyone, my parents, loved it”

Rumer was inspired to change her hair after donning a blonde wig in the movie I Know What Boys Like (in which she co stars with Tom Hanks’ son Colin Hanks). It was a pain to make the change, though—going from brunette to platinum took seven whole hours in the stylists’ chair!

“Honestly, it just took a long time. I got there at like 1 [p.m.], and I didn't leave until 8 p.m. I have really dark hair, so it took a long time, but it didn't really hurt,” Rumer said. “I got the idea because the movie I just finished, I was wearing a blonde wig, so I saw myself like that. And I just went for it. I always find that whenever I'm doing something big in my life, I want to change the hair.”

Rose McGowan Lightens Up!

Rose McGowan is known for her pale, pale skin and dark, dark hair. Dating Marilyn Manson didn’t help with the semi-gothic descriptions that have always followed her. But last night, the Charmed actress showed up to the Dolce & Gabbana show during Milan’s Spring/Summer 2008 fashion week with strawberry blonde locks! Reviews have been mixed (of her hair, not the show)…but we like the change!
