Bar Rafaeli, (better known as Leonardo DiCaprio’s girlfriend) is making headlines today: people from her native Israel aren’t too happy with how she unabashedly told Israel's Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper that she did not regret leaving Israel for the United States, even though it meant skipping out on her military duty in Israel.

"I don't regret not having been drafted into the army, because I made out big. Why is it good to die for one's country? Isn't it better to live in New York?"

Bar then went on criticize photographers in Jerusalem for how they treated she and boyfriend DiCaprio when they visited in March:

"I won't bring anyone famous to Israel any more because there is a chutzpah here that you won't see anywhere else."

Gorgeous and opinionated? Looks like Leo has got his hands full!

Natalie Portman has been spotted all around San Francisco the last few days. She took in a Toots & The Maytals concert at The Independent and went for a walk along SF’s Crissy Field. She is in town to participate in a lecture on Global Poverty at nearby Stanford University in Palo Alto. Since graduating from Harvard in 2003, Natalie Portman has been the Ambassador of Hope for the Foundation for International Community Assistance (FINCA International), one of the world’s top microfinance organizations committed to breaking the cycle of global poverty. Many attendees of the lecture claim that Portman got so worked up discussing poverty relief that through microfinance that she almost cried!
