It’s sometimes hard to remember there was a reason for all that mudslinging going on between Sara Evans and Craig Schelske. A Tennessee judge finalized the country star’s divorce from the former politico Friday, putting an end to 10 months of lurid allegations, tearful denials and other split-fueled warfare. According to documents filed in Williamson County Chancery Court, Evans will fork over $600,000 in alimony, with the option of making annual payments of $60,000 over 10 years, and Schelske will hang on to their two homes in Oregon. Her ex-husband sounds like a real jerk. Too bad she has to pay him alimony, 60K for ten years! Hope she has a few more hit songs. That is the motive behind many of the marriages in Hollywood today, they meet, mingle and jingle bells are there soon after only for everything to come crashing down even sooner than it could to decide they are an item. Well poor Sara either she can contest the judgment or pay that jerk some money to leave her alone.
