Brush with Adrian Grenier helps Aussie Iconwoman land roles

CANDICE Falzon may have found a lifesaver in the Seven Network, which will feature the notorious ironwoman in a documentary and audition her for singing series It Takes Two.

More famed for her recent social escapades than her athletic career, Seven will help to get Falzon's career back on track when it premieres new documentary series Australia Revealed on October 21.

Narrated by Russell Crowe, the series will tell the stories of prominent Australians and their connections to the land.

The program will follow "inspirational ironwoman" Falzon as she competes in various athletic carnivals around Australia.

Confidential can also reveal the beach babe is set to audition to become a celebrity singer on the next series of the network' karaoke contest It Takes Two.

Perhaps in a bid to "clear the air" with its viewers ahead of the hyped premiere of Australia Revealed, Today Tonight last night featured a "tell-all" interview with Falzon.

While Falzon refused to comment on the Clovelly Hotel toilets scandal with NRL star Sonny Bill Williams - saying "I've moved on from that" - she claimed jealousy was the motivating factor in the added attention she has attracted this year.

"There's a lot of gossip going around and usually I find jealous people gossip," Falzon told TT.

"I'm nothing like Paris Hilton - these people that judge me or say things about me they don't really know me."

We don't recall anyone ever likening her to Hollywood mega-star Hilton, but then come to think of it, Falzon did try and hook up with Entourage star Adrian Grenier last week . . .
