George Clooney's Fame Is Why The Wait In The Emergency Room Has Been So Damn Long At 40 Palisades Medical Center
My arm is practically falling off and apparently they've fired half the staff! Before I go into this story, someone please tell me that George Clooney looks like that for a movie. He looks like a the owner of a gay nightclub in Greece. Remember when George and his girlfriend took that spill off the motorcycle a couple of weeks ago? Well, several hospital workers at 40 Palisades Medical Center where he was treated are under investigation now. And as many as two dozen have been suspended. Allegedly, homies at 40 ran to every news outlet they could with his private info and one crazy even gave out the phone number of one of George's family members. Remind me to never get taken there after a drunken incident. What? I'm famous! Shut up!

After hearing that as many as 40 Palisades Medical Center employees are being investigated - and more than two dozen already suspended without pay - for allegedly leaking Clooney's and girlfriend Sarah Larson's private medical records to the media, the actor threw his support behind the staff.

"This is the first I've heard of it," Clooney, 46, said in a statement Tuesday. "And while I very much believe in a patient's right to privacy, I would hope that this could be settled without suspending medical workers."


George is over it. Though, I would kinda rather medical professionals be focusing on the patients as opposed to trying to cadge some scratch from Page Six. Damn. Uh, my Nana's flatlining...can you tell Paula Froelich you'll call her ass back?
