How dare they?? Carrie Bradshaw?? Most unsexy womanalive??? My a$$!! Maxim released their list of the Top 5 Most Unsexy Women Alive and put Sarah Jessica Parker at the top of the list... Britney Spears came in at #5, Madonna at #4, Sandra Oh #3 and Amy Winehouse at #2... So basically they're saying that Britney Spears and Amy Winehouse have more sex appeal than Sarah Jessica Parker??

 


OK, she's not the prettiest girl in Hollywood, and she takes a lot of heat for the wacky outfits they dress her in on Sex & the City, but she's adorable and in great shape... she seems like a really sweet person... and a good mom... and I just think Maxim took a low blow by putting her at the top of the list. What makes her so disgustingly unsexy and how could anyone put her in the samecategory as Britney crotch-shot Spears and Amy bloody feet Winehouse? Would the guys who compiled this list honestly rather sleep with Britney or Amy over Sarah if given the choice?? At least Sarah appears toshampoo on a regular basis and shave all the right parts... she's got all of her teeth and custody of her child... I just don't get it.

 



It was mean!! Maxim really needs to reevaluate that list... what about Pamela Hepatitis C Anderson instead? Or Courtney Love? Or wackadoo Paula Abdul? Anyone but Sarah... really. It was low.

    Maxim is not looking so much at the careers or likeablity with other women, or even how "NICE" they are. (By the way you have never met this person how do you know she is nice?)

  • Most men ARE not attracted to Pamela Anderson. The media thinks men are, and seem to repeat it ad nauseum. Similar to how the media thinks people only want to read stories about Paris or Britney. The controlled media dictates what 'society thinks'; even if society does not at all.

    SJP is not attractive to me - but she is above average for this world for sure! Just look in your office - tons of fat women, or bald hairy fat men, or people with big noses, or bad skin, or saggy skin. MOST PEOPLE ARE NOT THAT ATTRACTIVE. If this was a real list for people in Hollywood - then people like Rosie O'Donnell would be on it- and even she compared to general society is not that disgusting - she's articulate and clean and reasonably dressed.

    Madonna is not attractive BECAUSE SHE'S OLD!! Getting old makes you less attractive - she was certainly considered sexy 15-20 years ago by most of society. Heck, even in the movie First Wives club over 15 years ago, SJP looked pretty darn cute.

  • One of the first celebrities I met personally when I moved to NYC. I was naive to have somewhat believed the press about her so when I met her with her husband, I was so shocked that I could barely stop from looking shocked. I found her to be in person very very unattractive, very petite with a slumped posture and her hair was quite fuzzy and too long for her long long face. Unfortunately, I was too blown away to pay attention to her words but she seemed very nice. How Hollywood deemed her sexy shows how fake things are there and children should really see the reality of many of these stars so they will think perhaps more of their own qualities and not model themselves after the looks of quite unattractive people who get a lot of press. Perhaps SJP had nothing to do with the idea of how sexy she is but is now suffering the consequences of a press driven lie. She would not be noticed as the most unsexy if she had not been labeled as sexy. She was without a doubt one of the most unattractive people I have ever seen. I was puzzled about the list of famous boyfriends she has had so she must have one very great personality. She seems kind and likable but yes I would dare to say ugly in this case.My husband who also met her,actually laughs about how she looked and just neighs like a horse. WE would never even have thought about it but the expectations of her were driven by the press. It has now backfired on her.

  • Sarah Jessica Parker is successful & talented, has an upbeat & charming personality, seems to be genuine & kind & smart, has a great sense of style that many admire, is in good shape (even if too thin for your taste) and is rich & famous.
    A man who fit that description would be considered sexy, even if he had a horsey face and a big nose. No one would care what his face looked like.
    But if a women's looks don't fit some cookie cutter ideal, then every other positive quality she has is null & void apparently...

  • Having read some of the comments posted on here, it's plain to see that women are confusing "attractiveness" with "being sexy". E.g. 'I met this gorgeous girl at the bar lastnight and as soon as she opened her mouth she sounded so unsexy'.

    The Maxim readers poll was for being unsexy. I don't doubt there are many more unattractive women in the world than SJP but in terms of being unsexy she surely is at the top of the list.

I think Maxim is also making the interest point that a body alone is not enough for sex appeal.   • Obviously there are women in the world who are less sexy than SJP, just like there are sexier men in the world than whomever People magazine names as the sexiest man in any given year.

    If you look at Maxim's list, I think a lot of it is a statment about the 5 women's lack of charm. I'm sure it's a little shocking for women to see that, at least in the cases of Madonna and SJP, men's ideas about their sexiness is very different than women's. I think men generally think that those two women (and Sandra Oh) lack any feminine charm and are somewhat hostile to men. I'm sure that affected men's negative perceptions of them.

    In regular life, I see these gym rat tightly wound women with sculpted bodies thinking that they can achieve sexiness through hard work and sweat, only to find that softer, feminine women who are at ease among men are the ones men find sexy. The Maxim list may make women angry, but they shouldn't ignore it. There's a message in there for anyone looking to find one.

Sjp jus keep your head up and keep on ignoring those who discourage you. Forget what people say they should not judge her. Shes a very beautiful and unique woman and a wonderful mother. Some kids wish actually that theyd have a mother like her to be there in their live. The world is falling apart and it is corrupted.

  • It just seems to me that there is more to this situation than we really know, because saying SJP is the ugliest woman in show biz, I think someone must have been rubbed the wrong way by her or her management, it's very obvious! Sarah Jessica Parker is a likeable person and very cute, we all know this so ehm...anyone who has got a problem with this, should take it out on a wall or with a psychiatrist... anything....and let go of all the anger and jealousy...cos life is too short!   • Ya know, I've known of Sarah J.P. ever since she was featured in some swim suit competition. Later she got her big break acting job with Bruce Willis in Breaking Point. This was mid-90's and she looked way hot back then and despite the honkin nose, I had considered her to be the finest actress of her time back then. Now, all I can say is ..."Leave the crack alone."
