Originally posted December 13th, 2006: NASCAR star Jeff Gordon announced on his website earlier today that he and new wife Ingrid Vandebosch are expecting their first child. The couple married November 7th.

Says Jeff, "We're obviously very excited. Christmas came early for us this year. This is a very special gift for us – one that we're both looking forward to. The due date is early July, and Ingrid and I can't wait to be parents. We've known for a little while, but we couldn't wait any longer to share the good news with our friends and fans."
