Now, we're not ones to normally get into watching movies about history. (Unless it means getting out of having to read about history, of course.) However, we can think of one very good reason to go see the new movie "Elizabeth: The Golden Age" – and his name is Clive Owen.
Dear, hot Clive first came into our lives back in 2001, when his smoldering eyes convinced us to watch another period piece called "Gosford Park". (Ryan Phillippe is in that movie, too, f.y.i. – it's a double dose of yumminess.) We've been fans ever since.
Clive is originally from England, who has been particularly generous with their male exports lately (thanks, again, for Daniel Craig and David Beckham!). He's got a wife and two kids, which we're willing to overlook in our love for the guy. Our favorite thing about Clive (you know, aside from all that hotness), is the fact that he can actually act. With roles in flicks like "Closer", "Sin City", and "Children of Men", Clive is 100% A-list.
