Tyler Perry's "Why Did I Get Married" Number One at the Box Office

Tyler Perry spanked the competition this weekend with his film " Why Did I Get Married" which was number one at the box office this weekend, grossing 21.5 million dollars. Beating out Disney's,The Game Plan starring The Rock which came in 2nd grossing 11.5 million dollars, and Michael Clayton starring George Clooney which cam in 3rd grossing 11 million dollars.

I saw the movie this weekend and it was absolutely hilarious. There were moments when I was literally jumping out of my seat screaming with laughter, and I was not alone. I was pleasantly surprised at what an outstanding job soul singer Jill Scott did. As a matter fact everyone did a an amazing job. There were a few sappy moments, but that's to be expected with a romantic dramedy. Overall it was a fun time at the movies and I can't wait to see it again.
