Joss Stone: A Brat?

Now, The Mail corralled two of the former managers Joss says she “[hated]” and they are singing a different tune than the 20 yr. old phenom. Both former managers, Alex Cole and Ron Stone—no relation to Joss—warn that Joss’ “diva-like behavior could derail her career.”

Both men claim Joss is “naive, unwilling to take advice, surrounded by sycophants and heading for disaster if she does not begin listening.” And Ron Stone should know: He has worked with such greats as Bob Dylan, The Eagles and Joni Mitchell!

In some ways it seems that what Alex and Ron are describing is the picture of a girlish stubbornness: "She's a lovely girl, as sweet as can be, attractive and enormously talented, but when it comes to her career she's convinced she's right and everyone else over 30 is wrong.” But from other quotes, it seems that they believe Joss is a true brat: “She thinks she doesn't need anyone telling her what to do or how to do it.”

Either way, Joss better shape up! People love to hear about diva behavior, but they certainly don’t want to support it!
