Janet Jackson’s last two albums may have been commercial flops but she can now say that she has a hit movie in her hands. She has director Tyler Perry to thank for that.Janet stars in the writer/director’s new film ‘Why Did I Get Married?’ which opened at #1 in the US box office this past weekend with $21.5 million. While there are other debuts that garnered much more than that, the debut of Janet’s movie is noteworthy because the film only premiered on 2,011 screens. Big blockbuster films that open that big usually show on two or three times as many screens.
