Eva Longoria… Parker?

Who said old fashioned notions were dead? Eva Longoria, clearly bucking the trend of actresses who refuse to take their husband’s last name, has decided to make the leap.

Never fear, she isn’t ditching “Longoria” anytime soon, rather adding “Parker” to the end of her name. That counts, right? So now, faithful Desperate Housewives fans, take notice of her name in the credits as Eva Longoria Parker.

According to Longoria… umm… Parker… Eva (whatever), "I completely adopted the new name and I love it ... I'm a Parker now. I love every bit of it ... I like the tradition of changing the name."

So, now that she’s made the name change, any chance of little Longoria-Parkers running around the house? Chances are that Mrs. Parker is going to take some time enjoying her newlywed status and livin’ large off of her hit TV show and pro ball playing hubby before we hear the pitter patter of little San Antonio Spurs.
