Celebrity Couples Alert!

Being in the business of pop culture, I have heard more than a few tall tales when it comes to celebrity couplings. Case in point: Jennifer Aniston and Orlando Bloom. They  never dated. They weren’t even in the same vacinity as the idea of dating. They were simply in the same country (Mexico) at the same time. Apparently that’s all it takes to warrant a good romance these days.

This I precisely why I am tempted to blow the whistle on this ostensible pairing: Vanessa Williams and Vince Vaughn.

Reports started surfacing that the two had been sneaking around Los Angeles together trying to hide their relationship.  And the reports keep on coming:

“Vanessa’s really trying to keep this a secret,” claimed an insider. “She feels that the press helped ruin her relationship with Rick Fox, so she’s trying to keep what she has with Vince private.”

The Hills’ Whitney Port and E!’s Ben Lyons

I’m gonna go out on a limb and say that a lot of you don’t know who Whitney Port or Ben Lyons are. I am also going to go out on a limb and say that you should.

Whitney is, after all, the least obnoxious and most tolerable (adorable even) member of The Hills’ posse and Ben Lyons is the 90210-loving, less gay counterpart to Ryan Seacrest in the E! kingdom.

And….they are in love.

The two run in the same C-list circles and make no secret of their relationship whenever they are seen out together. Unabashadly making out, by some reports. Recently also, Lyons was seen out at Hollywood club Opera with Whitney’s BFF and fellow The Hills’  star Lauren Conrad:
