Fame hasn't been entirely easy for her. The press release says the title "describes the wonderful craziness that I've been through over the past couple years," but things like a doomed romance with a football player (how small town country singer can you get?) aren't exactly happy. But she's got a new album out, and it's doing well, and despite breaking up with Tony Romo, she's still a Cowboys fan (naturally).
The album? Newsday's take seems accurate: It's got adequate songwriting and production and makes the solid decision to leave Underwood's voice at center stage. It's not the best album ever, but it's probably the best this week. Here's a clip:
