Kim Kardashian, Skank to the Stars

You may have noticed the tabloid feeding frenzy around Paris Hilton’s BFF Kim Kardashian these days.  Apparently, Kim has taken a page from Paris’s book (we’re assuming it’s easy reading) and made a sex tape.  Which then got leaked…supposedly without her permission, but somebody’s been paid $1 million for it.

Kim, who is pretty much only famous for being around famous people, is now setting her lawyers on the distributors of the video, porn titans Vivid Entertainment.  Vivid exec Steven Hirsch says, however, “We are comfortable that we have the legal right to distribute this video.”  Interesting…

The brunette beauty is the daughter of the late OJ Simpson attorney, Robert Kardashian, and a professional socialite and social climber, having dated Sean Combs, Nick Lachey, Nick Cannon, rapper The Game, and her video co-star Ray J.  The younger brother of recently troubled singer Brandy, Ray J is also a successful singer in his own right and is the cousin of rapper Snoop Dogg.  Both Ray J and Kim are financially set, but is one of these wealthy celebrities trying to make an extra buck off their homemade porn?

In the interest of research, we took it upon ourselves to watch the trailer for the sex tape.   And let’s just say it wasn’t exactly amateur hour.  The film quality, the scene set ups, the way that Ray J mugged for the camera…it all begs the question – was this sex tape destined for infamy?  Somebody knows, and we’re betting they just got a little richer.
