Spurned into inactive action by Ellen DeGeneres‘ fragility and susceptibility to pressure, record numbers of cruel Americans tuned in to her talk show in the hope that they might catch some of her seemingly ceaseless bitch bitching.

Ratings for “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” were up almost 10 percent in the overnight Nielsens for the two days following her emotional breakdown over her adopted mutt, Iggy, who was passed on to another family after Ellen no longer wanted it. Those are just the preliminary numbers - the actual number of viewers may be much, much higher.

If her relationship falls apart, as news outlets are speculating it will, expect her to eclipse Oprah.
