It’s A Boy For Mekhi Phifer!
People magazine reports that ER star Mekhi Phifer and fiancee Oni Souratha are proud parents of a new baby boy today.

Mekhi Thira Phifer was born in Los Angeles on Tuesday at 6:47 a.m., and weighed 5 lbs., 4 oz.

“We are really happy and excited,” the couple tells People. “He is beautiful.”

Mekhi Phifer has an 8 year old son, Omikaye, from a previous relationship. At the baby shower earlier this month Mehki talked about wanting to have 4 or 5 more children in the near future.

Congratulations to Mekhi and Oni! Best wishes for a happy, healthy baby boy.
