Daniel Craig signs up to play James Bond in the next four films

Daniel Craig has signed up to play James Bond in the next four films.

The actor - who first starred as 007 in 'Casino Royale' in 2006 - is already filming his second British spy movie, tentatively titled 'Bond 22', and has now signed a contract with MGM for another three films.
MGM's chief executive Harry Sloan said: "We have signed Daniel Craig to do four more James Bond films, because these franchises are the bases of any studio."
The 39-year-old star's contract - expected to net him over £30 million - will incorporate a sliding salary range, dependant on how much each film makes at the box office and in merchandising.
