Guns and Roses' Slash Is An Author?

Who knew Slash was an author? Scratch that….who knew Slash was even literate?

 

Before your opinion of him gets too awfully high, let me regail you with a particularly sophisticated passage:

 

"I remember spending most of my days off in and out of a variety of VD clinics . . . I was dating a porno chick as well as this sweet little junkie jailbait girlfriend I had."

 

Slash then goes on to say how he continued to party hard even though it was the height of the AIDS scare: "We figured that no one needed to worry about it until David Lee Roth got it." 

 

Very Funny, Slash. 

 

Of course we are quite sure this memoir is given to exaggeration and hyperbole. But who could resist reading about a guy who gets spiritual guidance from David Bowie, to drinking with Billy Joel, kicking it with Michael Jackson or Brooke Shields, and hard partying with Gary Oldman.
