Rachel Hunter, Kevin Connolly, Julianne Hough, Haylie Duff, January Jones and The Wayans brothers partied prohibition style at Les Deux on October 31, 2007.
The party was designed to revive the sophisticated spirit of the Roaring Twenties with ABSOLUT 100, At two parties—in Los Angeles and New York—they recreated the decadent era that was filled with dancing and drinking. Those invited to the costume galas received special invitations with the secret location of the parties that will be held on October 27 in New York City and October 31 in Los Angeles (along with a password). Festivities begin at 10p in both locations.
The guests were treated to an evening of luxury from the moment they arrrived . They had to give the password to they doorman to be escorted into a speakeasy-style lounge reminiscent of the Cotton Club circa 1924. There, they mingled with mobsters and flappers and sipped ABSOLUT 100 specialty drinks served by white-gloved waiters from silver tail carts. They chilled with a jazz trio and swung to the sweet sounds of musical guests at the Manhattan party and the L.A. soirée.
To bring back the frivolity of that bygone era, they asked that guests arrive in 1920s attire. Pin striped suits with fedoras, flappers with feathered headbands, Al Capone or tuxedo-clad big band leader, they were free to choose their look as long as they arrived in costume.
Also amongst the star-studded party were former co-stars Danny Masterson and Wilmer Valderrama.
Mekhi Phifer, Matt Sorum, and Tommy Alastra were also in attendance.
Side note: This may be the first public appearance of new couple Kevin Connolly and Julianne Hough, of Dancing with the Stars fame. I wonder if she is helping him with his dance moves for "Hot Men", where he will be playing Benny Goodman.
