Elle MacPherson Admits Being Sex Starved

Stop the press!  Elle MacPherson shares with Esquire magazine that she has not had sex for two years and feels sex deprived during that period.  In addition, the supermodel know as "The Body" and lingerie designer says that she is not that lucky with men.  She told Britain’s Esquire magazine,

It’s crazy but, apart from a brief romantic intermission last summer, I have been single and celibate for two years. How boring is that?

The 43-year-old beauty says that men are intimidated by her looks. The supermodel was seen with actor Ray Fearson at the end of the last year.  Elle, who is rumored to have flings with Colin Farrell, Al Pacino and former England soccer player Sol Campbell, flatly denies it all. She clarifies that she doesn’t know some of them and others are just friends. She adds that she just can’t do such stuff as she values relationships. She has two sons with ex-boyfriend financier Arki Busson.

Sex starved Elle also shares that:

I just don’t get men hitting on me, but I’m a hopeless flirt. I’ll go up to a guy and say, ‘I think you are so beautiful’. But it doesn’t work.

While I can understand that men can be intimidated by a supermodel, it's difficult to believe that they run off when Elle goes up and flirts with a guy...she certainly has not tried this tact at a bar in Manhattan.

  • Back in 1996, 12 years ago, I was at JFK airport awaiting a Delta flight to LAX. A woman sat down next to me with her suitcase. She said to me, "Excuse me sir, but I need to make a call. Can you watch my bag fo a minute?"

I said, "Sure, no problem Miss." She says, "Don't call me Miss, it sounds so old. Call me Cindy."

"Okay Cindy, I said, not really paying attention as I was doing something for work."

As this woman walks off the guy across from me goes, "Do you know who that woman is?" I was not really paying attention, so now I looked at her more closely and said, "I think she looks like.... Cindy Crawford!" Realization hit me.

When she came back it turns out she was going home from a modeling trip in NYC, and I had barely the guts to talk to her. It turns out she was pretty nice, and got into a conversation. Then the flight was called, and everyone boarded the plane. We were both in first class not too far away from each other. Besides a few more comments on the flight, the conversation ended when we left the terminal for the most part.

Still, it was quite interesting meeting a woman that attractive in person. To think I first ignored her being emmersed in my work!
