Britney Spears is facing a fresh set of hit & run charges after she ran over an L.A. County Sheriff deputy’s foot leaving the L.A. County Courthouse after a custody hearing last Friday.

The Sheriff’s Department has filed a “traffic collision complaint” and an “active investigation” is under way, according to TMZ.com.
