Is Joel Madden setting the bar too high for fatherhood? According to Nicole’s baby daddy, Madden says, "I'm gonna be dad of the year!" Sure, Joel… whatever you say.
No word yet on whether Nicole plans to be a supermom or if Paris is going to be the best Auntie ever, but we can hold out hope, right?
Nicole and Joel are staying mum on the sex of the baby, but the pair does seem genuinely excited about their upcoming arrival. As for the name, well, Joel is coy about that too… saying, "We're going to meet the
baby first and then we'll figure it out.” He also commented that his band, Good Charlotte, is excited about baby Madden and that they’re going to “have a little mascot!”
Look for the Madden/Richie baby arrival news in January. We’ve got a few more months of Nicole “bump watch” to go!
