Marc Jacobs Is A Damn Body Fascist

Let me tell ya why. So I'm down in P-town on the weekend before Halloween. And I see this sweet Blondie t-shirt in the window of Marc Jacobs' shop. And the proceeds go to charity and everything. And I like Blondie! So I go in, and the stick standing guard is like "may I help you, sir?" And I'm like "you don't happen to have the Blondie shirt in XL, do ya?" (I've got man boobs and like em' roomy). And she manages to stifle her guffaw, and is like "uh, no. We just have them in small and medium. We didn't even get larges in the shipment." She had the decency to keep it to herself that Marc Jacobs probably doesn't even know what XL is. And didn't he used to be fat? Gawd, all of us fashion conscious couch dwellers have to suffer because he found the treadmill? Eff you, Marc Jacobs! Here's some pics from the ACE Awards. No not for cable. They have awards for accessories now! Marc won Designer of the Year.

The man whose own latest accessory is dyed blue hair, Marc Jacobs, took home the "Designer of the Year" award at the 11th Annual ACE Awards in New York on Nov. 5, one of many people honored by the Accessories Council this year for their achievements in the world of accessories.

Jacobs, whose shoes and handbags for both his signature collection and his younger Marc by Marc Jacobs brand are highly sought after items, also designs accessories for one of the most recognizable luxury brands in the world, Louis Vuitton, which he reinvents season after season. His latest collection, shown on the runways in Paris in October, featured a collaboration with artist Richard Prince.

Other winners included Mandy Moore for "Fashion Innovator" (really?), and Heidi Klum for "Fashion Influencer". Is that even a word? Heidi is pushing her new jewelery line, which she's going to wear on "Project Runway" this season. These awards are so arbitrary. And I know some of you twigs are like, stop bitching and go to the gym. And my reply is - who has time? I gotta write and bitch about people and I like food too much. Damn. Have you ever had a Ring Ding? They're like hockey pucks of chocolate happiness. Don't judge!
