"Project Runway" Season Four Is Almost Upon Us!

I think I'm swooning. Can you feel it? It's like a shift in the air. I hear arguments over sewing machines. I hear Michael Kors' gay foghorn of a voice complaining. I sense people having to make gowns out of household items. "Project Runway" begins its fourth season next Wednesday, Nov. 14! Someone catch me now, I'm falling! Things kicked off yesterday with a "Project Runway" preview show at NYC's Lincoln Center. Each of the fifteen new designers showcased three of their original creations. Tim Gunn is saying that the designers are so good this year that ANYONE of them could win the whole season or so he thinks. It's going to be a fashion rumble!

Each of the 15 new Project Runway designers sent three signature looks down the runway as part of Bravo's fashion show to kick off the new season, which premieres Nov. 14. The designers showcased some of the looks that earned them a ticket into the competition, including bejeweled dresses, fringed leggings, bouncing bustles and sweeping gowns.

"Some of the finishing was horrible, some of it was great," Season 2 contestant Santino Rice said after the show. He has his eye on several of the designers, including Rami Kashou, 31, who already counts Paris Hilton, Jessica Simpson and Jennifer Lopez as clients.

Early crowd-pleasers also included costume designer Chris March, 44, and Ricky Lizalde, 35, who has designed lingerie for Oscar de la Renta and now has his own line, Lizalde, in major department stores.

Santino! Is he still making those damn braid curtain dresses? Damn, switch it up! Heidi Klum told reporters that one designer spits on their clothes this year. What? You're supposed to spit on the OTHER bitch's clothes.

And get this. J. Harvey will be watching the premiere at an exclusive "Project Runway" premiere party in NYC next Wednesday night! Look, I'm starting to be invited to places! It's being thrown by Tresemme which, as you know, is one of "Runway"'s biggest sponsors. As in, "Andre, please get your model to the Tresemme hair salon right away!" I will have pics and a full report. Stay tuned!
