Conan’s Stalker – A Priest?

Holy Moly, Conan’s stalker was arrested last week – and he’s a priest!  Hey, we love Conan too, but you’ve got to draw the line somewhere.

Rev. David Ajemian was arrested after he tried to enter a taping of ‘Late Night with Conan O’Brien’. He’s allegedly been stalking the talk show host since September 2006, writing threatening letters and even meeting O’Brien at an event. In a July 2 letter to NBC security officials, he mentions that he’s "a stalker of a very different order than the kind you are used to dealing with." Alrighty then.

In an earlier letter, Ajemian expressed his frustration with O’Brien, telling him "Is this the way you treat your most dangerous fans??? You owe me big time pal." Creepy. And, following the stalker’s handbook, Ajemian mentioned the old “I know where you live…” line.

The priest and O’Brien attended Harvard University at the same time, but whether they knew each other at the time has yet to be revealed. Ajemian has been placed on leave and is not allowed to minister publicly; he could get up to a year in prison. Conan, as you know, is only gracing our TV in reruns with the writers’ strike going on.
