The married 37-year-old actor accepted the sexy award, but suggested he is not the best man for the job - and nominated another superstar with Boston ties.
“At the risk of being forward, if you asked me (which you didn’t) I would suggest Patriots quarterback Tom Brady for this award. He’s like a taller, better looking version of me anyway. Plus, he’s the best quarterback in the history of football.”
Matt Damon says thanks for the award, then cedes to Tom Brady.
Well, there you have it! Not only is New England 9-0, but they’ve got the sexiest man on Earth leading the way in Tom Brady. Surely Gisele Bundchen agrees.
Also on People’s sexiest list for 2007 are Grey’s Anatomy star Patrick Dempsey, Ryan Reynolds, Brad Pitt, James McAvoy, Johnny Depp, Dave Annable, Will Smith, Javier Bardem, Shemar Moore, Ben Affleck and Justin Timberlake.
