John Mayer and Jessica Simpson spent their New Year's Eve making out for all to see at the Hudsun Hotel in NYC for Christina Aguilera's bash.

They spent the entire weekend together and they're happy that the media isn't all over their relationship.

A source said,
“John has been thrilled that they have been tricking the media, but she doesn’t really care. His Christmas present to her was a framed copy of the Us Weekly cover that says ‘Dumped: John ditches Jessica.’”
John is so funny, that's why I love him. Crazy ass. The couple are still holed up in a NYC hotel in SoHo. Hawt.
