Instead of guests bringing them gifts, the soon-to-be mom, 26 — who told Diane Sawyer, “I want my child to look up to me and be proud of me” — and the Good Charlotte rocker, 28, are asking pals to give cribs, strollers and stuffed animals to the new Richie Madden Children’s Foundation, which supports mothers in need.
Next month, their charity will also donate 100 Mom-to-Be kits to the Los Angeles Free Clinic!
It seems that parenthood has altered the lives of these two celebrities and they realize that there are others in greater need in this country. It appears that they both understand the impact a baby will have in their lives as well as how fortunate they are to be able to provide for their own child.
