Is N'Sync's JC Chasez Just Trying To Make Friends?

According to the New York Daily News, the former boy band-er “seemed very interested in meeting a particularly handsome young gentleman during Fashion Week.”  Apparently, JC’s publicist told the man in question, “JC is going to be at such and such a place later, and he'd love to hang out with you.” 

When called out on the exchange (no pun intended), the singer’s rep denied having tried to facilitate the hook-up, clarifying, “And if it did, it would just be to hang out in a group, because he's a cool guy, not like a setup.”

Uh-huh.  That’s pretty much the most convincing denial we’ve heard from a publicist this week.  Does this mean that Lance Bass wasn’t the only tween girl heartthrob in ‘N Sync with a secret? 

And who was the “olive-skinned hunk” who JC was so eager to meet?  A quick glance at the celebrity guest lists at Fashion Week reveals that both Entourage’s sexy Adrian Grenier and Nigel Barker of America’s Next Top Model were in attendance.  Both fit the olive-skinned description and are hunky enough to pull appreciative glances from both genders.  So, readers, who do you think JC was trying to recruit for his new boy band?
