Goran Visnjic admits paternity of Croatian woman’s daughter
Although he was scheduled to take a DNA test in September, E.R. heartthrob Goran Visnjic, 35, canceled at the last minute, admitting he indeed fathered a daughter with a Croatian woman. Goran, who is married to sculptor Ivana Vrdoljak, slept with Mirela Rupic in 2006. He claimed he was drunk and jetlagged during a visit to his hometown of Sibenik, Croatia, where he met the woman.

Mirela claimed the actor knew about the pregnancy and paid her $1,000 a month until last July. After the monthly payments stopped, Mirela demanded Goran take a blood test to confirm paternity of five month old Lana Lourdes.

Mirela admitted she’s thrilled Goran confessed the truth about being Lana’s father.

When I learned that he admitted the child I started to cry. It proves that he is a great man.

A tribunal in Croatia is currently underway to determine the amount of child support Goran will be required to pay.

Goran and Ivana adopted a son, Tin, last April.
