In an explosive new cover story, US Weekly Magazine is shattering the innocent image that made Southern blonde Britney Spears a pop star. US claims Brit’s paternal grandmother, Emma Jean Spears, committed suicide in June 1966 at age thirty-one. Suffering from depression, shot herself in the chest with a shotgun at the grave of her infant son who had died eight years earlier. The tab also blows the lid off the claim that Brit lost her V to childhood sweetheart Justin Timberlake; adding fuel to earlier reports that the relationship between the one-time teen queen and the SexyBack singer was manfactured for the press.
