Kanye West Breaks Down

Little more than a week after his mother Donda's death during a botched plastic surgery procedure, Kanye West dissolved into tears on stage while attempting to sing his song "Hey Mama" at a concert in Paris last night.

TMZ reports:

...Kanye can be seen holding his hands over his face and just standing in the middle of the stage as the band began to play the song. Eventually a few band members came to console him. The crowd can be heard chanting his name over and over again.

West left the stage, but eventually returned to perform the song "Stronger" with the audience yelling out their support. He is expected to return to the U.S. for his mother's funeral, taking place on Tuesday in Oklahoma City.

Whatever you may think of West, you have to feel for the guy in this situation. Our thoughts are with Kanye and the rest of his family in this difficult time.

  • As fans/friends we are responsible for sending love and light to his path as his music has beenlove and light for us....I lost my own mother many moons ago vey abruptly and it is something you carry forever...but it does get better and the days get...
