Miley Cyrus on Oprah Winfrey Show

Miley Cyrus, a 14 year-old pop sensation got fame by her Disney hit Hannah Montana and she talked about herself in the Oprah Winfrey Show. She appeared on the show with the host in the middle of her world tour, which also is proving to be successful as the tickets are sold on the internet and are getting far more than their value. She told Oprah Winfrey who is the host of famous US cat show, that her dad, Billy Ray, a country singer, seems to be worried about her dating boy friends and even spies on her.

In Hannah Montana, Cyrus plays a character of a schoolgirl, Miley Stewart, who leads a double life as in the day she is completely normal like other girls but at night she becomes a chart-topping pop star. Her father, Billy Ray also stars along her in Hannah Montana. She said that her father is her best friend but that his best friend was their German shepherd dog. Billy Ray, himself had topped the charts in 1992 with his only one hit, Achy Breaky Heart.

Talking about an incident when she was with her boyfriend, she said that her dad had scared her and keeps a watch on her every move. But Billy Ray had a different opinion and he said the he and his wife had full confidence in their daughter and they knew that she is very sensible.

When talking about her mom she said that her mom makes her read articles, which deals with celebrities who behave well even after getting success. She wants her to be humble and Miley said that she tries to be true to herself. She knows that she is a kid and also wants to grow up slowly.
