Okay, let’s back up. Hulk Hogan (real name: Terry Gene Bollea) and his wife of 24 years, Linda Bollea, appear on the VH1 reality series Hogan Knows Best. Their two kids are Brooke, an aspiring pop tart, and Nick, recently named dangerous driver whose license was suspended. Yeah, this family is larger than life, especially considering that dad is a famous wrestler.
So, wife Linda filed divorce papers on Tuesday, but Hulk didn’t find out until Friday, when a Florida newspaper reporter called him to get his reaction.
Hogan thanked the reporter for the "great information" then later said, "I'm kind of shocked. You caught me off-guard. My wife has been in California for about three weeks. ... Holy smokes. Wow, you just knocked the bottom out of me. ... I just pulled over to the side of the road for five minutes to find out what was going on here."
