Jessica Alba is in talks to star on Broadway in a revival of David Mamet's Speed-the-Plow – the role that Madonna originated in the 1988 Broadway production, PEOPLE reports.
"Well, there's a rumor. Yeah, I've been asked to do it," Alba, 26, said on Live with Regis & Kelly Monday.
She added later, "But this is just talk. It's not really happening yet. I'm freaked out!"
"I would be honored to do it," she said, adding, perhaps a bit coyly, "I don't know if audiences would even want to see me on Broadway."
