Over the weekend, the L.A. home of country singing stars Tim McGraw and Faith Hill was burgled by individual(s) that made away with an undisclosed, but substantial, amount of money. Tragedy such as this happens sometimes. No one was home at the time the burglary took place which helps to limit the offense to burglary and not anything more serious when it comes to the Hill-McGraw family. Just some money was taken and they made a clean getaway.
Of course, this is helped by the fact that no one really knows when the home was broken into.
While we are not entirely sure of home protocol…Doesn’t is seem like it would make sense if you are millionaires, and famous, that your home should be locked up and maybe you should use some of that money to install a burglar alarm?
The lesson to be learned here: If you are a millionaire, or even if you just have a lot of cash in the house, maybe have someone check in on the house over the weekends you are gone.
And if you do have enough money that it is lying around all over the place in substantial piles, perhaps we could humbly suggest that someone install an alarm that would alert the police to a burglary?
