Usher Names his Son Usher

Usher, 29, and his wife, Tameka Foster, 36, have welcomed a baby boy, his rep tells Usmagazine.com. The child, who weighed 7 pounds and 9 ounces, was born Tuesday November 27th at 9:55 p.m. Monday in Atlanta.

They named the boy Usher Raymond V. “We are so happy and proud of our beautiful son,” Usher said in a statement. “What a blessing!”

It is the first child for the couple, who wed in a civil ceremony in Atlanta on September 1.
