Christmas Eve, I fill their stockings with so many little goodies that they practically fall off the mantel. When the kids wake, they peek over the stairs and the first thing they see are the stockings overflowing. That's how you know Santa came.
We leave reindeer food -- glitter and pencil shavings -- on the lawn the night before. It may seem silly, but these are the traditions that made Christmas special to me. I want to give that to my kids. I want to give my kids the holiday experience I had.
