No Peppers Spray Found on Dress of Ingrid Marie Rivera

Ingried Marie Rivera has more explaining to do than Brad Womack.

The winner of this year’s Miss Puerto Rico crown - who claimed that someone pepper sprayed her attire during the competition is in trouble with authorities:

They’ve investigated her allegations and have found no traces of the substance in her belongings, People magazine reports.

“I guess she has a lot of explaining to do,” police spokesman Stephen Alvarez said after investigations by Puerto Rico’s Forensic Sciences Institute turned up no capsicum, the prime ingredient in pepper spray.

Due to the findings, police superintendent Pedro Toledo told reporters the investigation will now focus on whether anybody provided false statements to police officers, which would be classified as a felony.

We’ll keep you updated as this story develops. Sort of makes the Tila Tequila/bisexual controversy seem far less pressing, doesn’t it?

But not as less sexy.
