Sophie Wessex takes her Xmas baby bump out shopping

With a baby due on Christmas Day, the Countess of Wessex could be forgiven for seeing in the festive season with her feet up.
But despite her burgeoning bump, she still managed to spend an hour trawling the designer boutiques of Chelsea on a shopping trip.
Sophie, 42, opted for a comfortable olive-green jumper and sensible flat-soled shoes with a stylish grey military-style winter coat.
The baby Prince Edward's wife is expecting will be the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh's eighth grandchild.
Sophie is already booked into her local hospital for the Christmas Day birth of the Queen's eighth grandchild.
After the heartache of several failed bouts of IVF treatment, Sophie and 43-year-old Prince Edward were surprised to discover that this baby had been conceived naturally.
The couple, who married in 1999, have struggled to have a family. There was a potentially life-threatening ectopic pregnancy in 2001, which left Sophie critically ill.
Their four-year-old daughter Louise was the result of painful fertility procedures and her birth in November 2003 was so traumatic that both mother and child almost died.
Medical experts say women who have had an ectopic pregnancy have around a ten per cent risk of suffering another.
Sophie is being closely monitored by Royal obstetrician Marcus Setchell, and staff at Frimley Park Hospital near the home of the Wessexes, at Bagshot Park in Surrey, have been put on 24-hour standby.
Sources close to the couple say that specialist help has also been arranged for after the birth.
"Sophie and Edward are very happy and looking forward to this baby," says one.
"But because of Sophie's medical history, they are taking no chances."Celebs and Bubs
