Does anyone seriously think these two are a couple? Jake Gyllenhaal is more of a Toothy Tile kinda guy, I think. Reese is probably happy to play the beard role - after the nasty dissolution of her marriage she's in no hurry to fall in love. And Jake is hoping some of Reese's box office clout will rub off on him. He'd like to be the top-earning actress in Hollywood, too.
Will this pseudo-couple last? Meh. Don't really know, don't really care. It will probably last as long as they can milk the PR then fade out until the next movie comes along. Their pretend romance didn't save their movie from a dismal showing anyway. They might as well not have bothered.
