Johnny Depp's Holiday Plans: "Hanging Out With the Kiddies; Wait for Santa"

Johnny Depp is more interested in spending the holidays with his children than the buzz surrounding his performance in Tim Burton's Sweeney Todd.

The 44-year-old actor's holiday plans are not unlike those of Angelina Jolie.

"Hanging out with the kiddies. Wait for Santa Claus," he tells Extra in an interview airing Tuesday.

Depp has two children Lily-Rose, 8, and Jack, 5, with girlfriend, French actress Vanessa Paradis.

Critics have raved that Depp gives an Oscar-caliber performance in Sweeney Todd (out Dec. 21). "This is the film to beat for Best Picture this year," wrote Fox News' Roger Friedman. Adds Kirk Honeycutt of The Hollywood Reporter: "Depp is the movie’s heart and guts... with his sturdy acting and surprisingly good voice, Depp is a Sweeney Todd for the ages."

But Depp keeps the praise in perspective, telling Extra: “They say my job is done on the film. It’s none of my business what happens after that."

The full interview will air on Extra tonight.
